Dear NCBR Members,

We are writing to share some exciting news that I believe will have a meaningful impact on both our community. As part of our ongoing commitment to giving back, I am thrilled to announce the formation of a new charitable group under a 501(c)(3) designation, specifically focused on supporting those in need within our local communities.
Our mission with this new organization is to harness the collective power of the real estate community to make a difference. We understand the integral role real estate professionals play in shaping the neighborhoods and lives of those we serve, and this initiative allows us to further that positive influence.

The Role of Our New Charitable Group:

  1. Newport Emergency Relief Fund (NERF): One of our primary focuses will be supporting individuals and families facing financial hardships. This includes raising funds to assist those who need help with minor repairs, utilities, or other emergency need.
  2. Community Building: We will be partnering with local organizations to fund projects that strengthen our community.
  3. Educational Support: As part of our commitment to the future, we will also focus on providing additional scholarship opportunities and funds to those we already support through our scholarship community.

We believe that by uniting as a board and as professionals, we can amplify our collective efforts and bring about positive change. I encourage you all to get involved, whether through financial contributions, volunteering, or helping us spread the word about our mission.
