January 19, 2018 -- The Newport County Board of REALTORS (NCBR) and the Rhode Island Association of REALTORS (RIAR) have announced that Hannah Hodgson has been named Association Representative/Board Administrator of the Newport County Board and will take her post on February 1st. She will assist the NCBR membership with administrative and membership support functions working with staff from the Rhode Island Association of REALTORS, NCBR's contracted services provider.
"Our administrative services with RIAR are in place and working and we're pleased to announce our next step of adding full time staff to our NCBR office. Hannah will be a great help in connecting NCBR with our members and our community," commented Annie Becker, NCBR President.
Hodgson has extensive experience in the nonprofit sector from her past positions as Director of Sales and Marketing for Junior Achievement of RI, President of the Cranston Chamber of Commerce and Executive Director of South Kingstown CARES. She also has real estate experience through her prior employment at Moran Management LLC and as the owner of Condominium & Townhouse Management, Inc.
"Hannah has a diverse background in both leadership and support positions with different organizations. She is creative, energetic and truly understands nonprofit structures. We're very fortunate to have found someone with her background and I'm sure that she will be a great addition to the Newport County Board," said Philip Tedesco, RIAR CEO.
